As a Consultant, Marketing Project Management, you'll drive collaboration across various Content & Delivery teams to ensure quality, timely delivery of a wide variety of marketing requests, from full-scope conceptual creative to quick-turn updates! You'll work on a high volume of projects, and need the ability to effectively lead that volume to completion on a rolling basis. We'll count on you to supervise all aspects of a project, from inception through launch, and have the ability to maintain the broad vision required for executing a project, as well as the talent for coordinating the details.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in marketing, business administration or related field preferred. Graduate level studies preferred.
  • Typically, seven or more years of proven professional experience in project management, preferably in marketing, insurance or financial services. Master’s degree may be substituted for a portion of the experience requirements as appropriate.
  • Advanced level understanding of project management concepts and techniques (agile, etc.).
  • Knowledge and strong understanding of creative process as well as design and print/digital production; and marketing concepts and terminology.
  • Effective creative project management skills including organization and planning, ability to multitask effectively, interpersonal savvy, leadership and motivational techniques.
  • Strong problem solving, negotiation, and excellent relationship building skills.
  • Ability to plan, coordinate and assess the work of others.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Operates effectively in a fast-paced, environment; and able to adjust schedule or work hours to meet changes in priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Agile project management certification a plus.
  • FINRA Series 6 license may be required. Associates will acquire the required Federal and/or state licenses/registrations within the time period designated by the business unit. Additional licenses/registrations may be required when new products and services are implemented. If an associate fails to obtain required licenses/registrations within the designated time period, the associate will be ineligible to continue in the position.
  • Advertising agency project management experience preferred - including direct marketing campaigns, promotions, print, digital, social media.
  • Agile project management experience preferred.
  • Insurance and/or financial services product knowledge a plus.
  • Expertise in Project Management software, particularly in workflow development with a focus on video/photo phases, timeline management, resourcing, capacity planning, and proactively managing team utilization preferred.
  • Advanced level understanding of video/photo project management is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, maintains, and implements project plans for mid to highly complex local and national marketing programs and initiatives, ensuring resources are allocated appropriately within the project.
  • Assesses moderately to highly sophisticated project requests and define an action plan that satisfies marketing objectives and ensures quality execution.
  • Collaborates across Content & Delivery to provide timeline, cost estimates, risks, etc. associated with projects with limited supervision.
  • Makes tactic recommendations and offers perspective during internal creative reviews.
  • Coordinates quality control of all results.
  • Consults with legal and compliance as needed to ensure regulatory compliance for communications.
  • May perform other responsibilities as assigned.
