About the role: As a Professional Services Consultant, you will be the face of FIS, working closely with our clients who implement our IBS loan solutions as we change the way the world banks. You must have the ability to manage multiple projects of varying size and complexities. This is a full-time position with some travel and weekend work required. Current and future sponsorship are not available for this position About the team: The Loan Balancing team is responsible for making sure all IBS Loan system transactions are appropriately mapped to general ledger (GL) by examining data files, processes, forms, reports and operational needs of customers. Validates and balances IBS loan data and transactions being mapped to general ledger. Determines customer specific processing parameters and completes FIS IBS application interface set up for client use. Trains clients on the loan balancing procedures and provides support during conversion What you will be doing: In this position, you will work closely with our clients during their IBS implementation, understanding their requirements and setting up their application interface from loan system to general ledger. You will balance conversion Principal and Accruals and work with clients on their daily loan balancing. You will support our clients throughout the conversion process to ensure they are ready to use the system after their live conversion. What you bring: Banking accounting background with general ledger knowledge Loan operations experience General Ledger and/or reconcilement experience Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent human relations, communication, negotiation and documentation skills. The ability to translate client requirements to technical specifications and then explain these concepts to customer groups. Requires high attention to detail Ability to work occasional weekends is required. Travel 20-30% is required.

Requirements

Banking accounting background with general ledger knowledge
Loan operations experience
General Ledger and/or reconcilement experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent human relations, communication, negotiation and documentation skills.
The ability to translate client requirements to technical specifications and then explain these concepts to customer groups.
Requires high attention to detail
Ability to work occasional weekends is required.
Travel 20-30% is required.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of FIS Integrated Banking System (IBS)
Implementation experience
