About The Position
The Energy Providers practice at Guidehouse is dedicated to assisting utilities and energy companies in navigating the rapid transitions within the energy industry. As the demand for cleaner fuel supplies, enhanced reliability, improved resilience, and greater control over energy costs for customers increases, our consultants play a pivotal role in supporting project teams both at client sites and internally. The Consultant II position is designed for individuals who are passionate about sustainability and energy efficiency, and who are eager to contribute to innovative solutions that drive positive outcomes for our clients. In this role, consultants are expected to create and present high-quality deliverables that support essential project workstreams. This involves gathering and analyzing data, making recommendations based on baseline performance, and leveraging established best practices and benchmarks. Key responsibilities include contributing to creative problem-solving efforts, conducting data analysis, performing technical engineering reviews, and engaging in economic modeling and primary data collection. Consultants will also assess energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies, conduct market research, and prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for client deliverables. The position requires a proactive approach to communication, as consultants will be responsible for conveying solutions and new strategies to clients and stakeholders.
