About The Position
As an Underwriting Consultant I on the Specialty Health team, you will be responsible for underwriting Lincoln’s Supplemental Health and Dental/Vision products. You will perform and deliver on routine assignments/projects while simultaneously leveraging and applying your knowledge. You will be responsible for more complex risks and expected to work independently and as part of a team. You will assess financial risks related to insurance products, determine price at which LFG will accept risks, alter coverage plans/levels based on risk & pricing, and bind LFG in transactions for insurance products. You will determine whether to accept or reject a risk based on your analysis of the customer’s information.
