About The Position

The Human Resources Consultant at Lakeview Hospital will collaborate with the Sr. Director of Human Resources and the HR team to enhance employee relations and engagement. This role involves providing expert guidance on employee issues, ensuring compliance with laws and policies, and supporting HR leadership in strategic initiatives. The position is part-time, hybrid, and requires a commitment of approximately 20 hours per week, primarily during day hours (Monday to Friday).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of professional level Human Resource experience required.
• Experience in managing employee relation issues is essential.
• Ability to problem solve and follow investigative steps for complex issues.
• Strong communication skills to support all levels of employees and leaders.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a healthcare or hospital environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for employee relation issues, providing guidance in conflict resolution, coaching, disciplinary action, investigations, and policy interpretation.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and company policies regarding employee relations.
• Collaborate with HR leadership to align on scope and direction of HR initiatives.
• Provide expertise, advice, and support to leaders within the organization.
• Manage multiple employee relation issues while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
