About The Position

The HCM Consultant is responsible for supporting clients through the implementation, configuration, and optimization of Human Capital Management (HCM) systems and third-party HR technology solutions. This role partners closely with client HR teams to understand business requirements, manage system configurations, and ensure accurate data migration and integration across platforms. The HCM Consultant provides hands-on system support, user training, and troubleshooting to ensure successful adoption and ongoing functionality of HCM solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • 2–5 years of experience working with HRIS or HCM platforms in a functional or technical capacity
  • Experience with HCM platforms such as ADP, Paycor, Paycom, Paylocity, or similar systems
  • Experience with data migration, system configuration, and third-party integrations
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive employee data
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR technology tools
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Ability to use a computer for long periods
  • Ability to move between office spaces and meeting areas

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., HRIP, SHRM-CP, PHR) a plus

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients by delivering responsive, high-quality HCM consulting services aligned with each client’s scope of work.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for system-related discussions, providing regular updates on implementation progress, data migration status, and issue resolution.
  • Support the implementation and configuration of HCM platforms and third-party applications, ensuring systems are aligned with client business processes and requirements.
  • Manage and execute data and electronic document migrations between systems, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and compliance throughout the process.
  • Conduct system testing and assist with troubleshooting configuration issues, data discrepancies, and integration challenges during and after implementation.
  • Provide end-user training, documentation, and post-implementation support to ensure client teams are confident and effective in using HCM systems.
  • Support multiple client projects simultaneously, tracking tasks, timelines, and deliverables to ensure timely and successful project completion.
  • Follow best practices related to data security and privacy, ensuring client HR data is handled in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including HR Consultants, Data Services, and Technology partners, to deliver seamless client solutions.
  • Perform other related responsibilities as needed to support client delivery and organizational goals.
