About The Position
The Energy Providers practice at Guidehouse is dedicated to assisting utilities and energy companies in navigating the rapid transition towards cleaner fuel supplies, enhanced reliability, improved resilience, and greater control over energy costs for customers. As a Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting project teams both at client sites and internally. Your responsibilities will encompass client management, solution implementation, and the generation of project results. A significant aspect of your role will involve creating and presenting high-quality deliverables that are essential to various project workstreams. In this position, you will be tasked with gathering and analyzing data, identifying gaps and trends, and making informed recommendations related to baseline performance and structure, as well as established best practices and benchmarks. Your key responsibilities will include contributing to creative problem-solving initiatives aimed at driving outcomes for clients, conducting data analysis, performing technical engineering reviews, engaging in economic modeling, and executing primary data collection. You will also assess energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies and trends, engage in building and technology energy simulation modeling, and conduct field performance measurement and data collection of building and industrial process energy systems. Additionally, you will be responsible for market research, literature reviews, and policy analysis, as well as fact-finding, research, and analysis on energy-related activities. Preparing reports, presentations, and other documents for client deliverables will also be part of your duties. You will develop technology strategies for utilities, government, and energy companies, and effectively communicate solutions and new strategies to clients and stakeholders.
