About The Position

We are seeking a Consultant for our Economic Damages & Valuation (ED&V) team. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, highly driven person with a well‑rounded skill set to join the ED&V team, whose responsibilities extend beyond those of traditional business valuation roles. The ideal person for this role will need to not only have a strong grasp of business valuation but also be flexible and a strategic thinker able to take on a variety of tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Effective organization skills.
• Ability to analyze large data sets and simplify/translate into a visual format. (Ex.: Create a graph of gross profit by zip code, Compare company to benchmarks over time, Contrast revenue per employee to benchmarks, etc.)
• Detail oriented and able to reconcile/check work from multiple perspectives. (ex. Foot/crossfooting of schedules, goal seeking, compare cash receipts per the bank statements to reported revenue, etc.)
• Ability to research industry/economic/benchmark data and apply to subject companies.
• Proficient with Excel and Word.
• Ability to assist with the writing of valuation reports.

Nice To Haves

• Willing to obtain a relevant business valuation credential (ex. CVA, ASA, ABV, CFA, etc.)
• Remote work is an option.

Responsibilities

• Assist in business valuation engagements from project inception through draft stage
• Manage document requests and production
• Perform data input and prepare valuation exhibits
• Participate in client interactions as needed
• Support damages and financial forensic engagements (optional)
