Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our Design and Construction team in the role of Senior Construction Consultant . Job Description Collaborate with the Division Project Directors and the Project Management Office to further enable program initiatives and achieve the goals of the organization through standard, consistent, and reliable project delivery best practices. Support construction delivery model selection, matching most appropriate model to the project circumstances; pre-construction services (e.g. estimating, logistics planning, scheduling, labor market analysis, etc.); analysis of proposed construction means and methods and logistics planning; validation of construction costs, change orders and labor rates; schedule and milestone targeting and management oversight; review and confirmation of Construction and Systems & Material Warranty and follow through at 11 and 23 months. Ensure performance that meets on-time/on-budget requirements at IU Health quality expectations. Candidate Qualifications Bachelor's Degree is required. Master's Degree is preferred. Requires 10+ years of relevant experience. Adroit in procurement and construction of healthcare facilities. Possesses and maintains strong relationships with constructors and union leaders. Expertise in schedule, budget, local and disadvantaged business participation, sustainability, cost/escalation and safety. Previous experience with healthcare facilities and systems is preferred. Travel to Hospitals and projects within the IU Health system will be required. Requires application of regulations, such as the NFPA Life Safety Code, IDOH Regulations including the FGI Guidelines for Design and Construction of Health Care Facilities, LEED, International Building Code and Americans with Disability Act. Good organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work non-traditional hours when required. Requirements
