We are a dedicated team of 11 consultants, we are excited to welcome a new consultant to join our expanding Care of the Elderly and Frailty service. You will have the opportunity to work in a base ward or within the community, with the added benefit of developing a specialist interest in one of the key areas, including orthogeriatrics, peri-operative medicine, interface medicine or community geriatrics. Our highly regarded Frailty Assessment Service, includes a Direct Assessment Pathway, Frailty Assessment Unit, Frailty SDEC, and a Virtual Ward currently in development. These services are central to our care model and provide a unique opportunity to contribute to an innovative service. The role will include a fixed weekend post-take ward round, as well as Frailty Assessment Service sessions on a 1 in 10 basis. As our workforce expands, the nature and frequency of weekend commitments will change, ensuring a well-balanced and sustainable workload is maintained.
