About The Position

The Construction Yard Worker/Driver is responsible for the transportation of construction materials from the company warehouse to various job sites. This role involves ensuring the correct loading of materials, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and adhering to safety regulations. The driver will also perform inspections on the truck and equipment, assist in yard organization, and manage related paperwork.

Requirements

• Clean driving record (Required)
• Valid CDL A (Required)
• High School diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
• 5 years of driving experience (Preferred)
• Possesses requisite driving skills.
• Good organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Pickup and transport construction materials from the warehouse to job sites.
• Ensure correct materials are loaded safely for travel.
• Return all related paperwork properly signed and organized.
• Maintain cleanliness and fuel of vehicles daily.
• Assist with cleanout of vehicles upon return to the warehouse.
• Report any accidents promptly to the Operations Manager.
• Comply with company policies and state-enforced safety regulations.
• Inspect truck and equipment before and after trips.
• Load and unload materials and equipment from trucks.
• Keep the yard clean and organized.
