Requirements

Three plus (3+) years of construction worker experience required.
Ability to read blueprints.
Basic math skills required.
Required to lift/move up to 100lbs.
Valid driver’s license required.
Previous Tile installation experience required.
Demolition experience and hand tool knowledge.
Stucco and plastering experience.
Sheet rock construction experience.
Residential construction indoor and outdoor experience.
Physically healthy, strong and fit
Experience with infrastructure projects
Able to work safety
Team player
Able to follow instructions
Heavy equipment experience
Dependable
Willing to learn new skills
Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude while dealing effectively with guests, management, team members, and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlines
Must be able to frequently move freely about the property, withstand various activities such as frequent walking, sitting for long periods and withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending and kneeling without restriction
Be able to work indoors and be exposed to various environmental contaminants including smoke
Ability to lift or carry a minimum of 20 pounds unassisted in the performance of specific tasks assigned
Must be able to work with others, communicate well, receive direction, and provide feedback when needed to achieve department goals and objectives
Must maintain a positive attitude toward work and interface with guests in a congenial and polite manner
Must be able to address stressful situations with clients with dignity and the utmost tact and politeness
Must be able to touch and handle supplies in a safe and non-hazardous manner, maintaining proper hygiene, cleanliness, and disposal methods

Responsibilities

Adhere to the Miccosukee Service Expectations and ensure team compliance
Responsible for adhering to safe practice rules to ensure a safe working environment.
Reads and interprets blueprints.
Works without blueprints when necessary.
Utilizes hand tools and small power tools and performs minor maintenance as required.
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times inside and outside of property greeting guests if necessary making them feel welcome.
Mixed construction materials, including grout, mortar and plaster, to standard formulas
Maintain equipment and kept work areas clean to avoid hazards
Measure and cut materials accurately for installation
Mix, pour, smooth and level new concrete and other materials.
Keep site clean and safe by following safety instructions and keeping site clean and free of debris and discarded material.
Load, transport, unload and carry materials at construction sites.
Operates equipment and machines used in construction.
Responsible for building, demolishing, and repairing various structures for the entity.
Members are expected to conduct and carry themselves in a professional manner at all times and to observe the Company’s standards, work requirements and rules of conduct.
Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job
