About The Position

The Construction Worker I will assist in various tasks on construction sites, including but not limited to, site preparation, material handling, and equipment operation. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Requirements

Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
Knowledge of construction site safety practices.
Ability to operate basic hand tools and power tools.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and maintenance of construction sites by cleaning trash, loading and unloading materials, and setting up equipment.
Operate hand tools and power tools as required for various tasks.
Follow instructions from supervisors and project managers to complete daily assignments.
Learn and retain knowledge of skills performed during civil construction processes.
Transport materials and equipment to and from the job site.
Assist in traffic control.
Perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment.
Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Train in operation of small equipment to include soil compactor, off road truck, mechanical broom, and street sweeper.
Perform other duties as assigned to support project completion.
