Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong interest in the electrical field; vocational training or coursework is a plus
• Eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work in varying conditions, including outdoor environments

Responsibilities

• Assist with Installations: Help install electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment according to plans and codes, under the guidance of experienced electricians.
• Support on the Job Site: Transport materials and tools, maintain inventory, and help keep job sites organized and efficient.
• Follow Safety Practices: Uphold all safety standards and promptly report any hazards or incidents to supervisors.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance: Learn to conduct basic maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Read and Understand Blueprints: Begin developing the ability to interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to support project tasks.
• Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with journeyman electricians and others to meet project goals and quality standards.
• Gain Shop Experience: Assist in our pre-fabrication shop to help prepare electrical components for installation.
• Learn and Grow: Take full advantage of on-the-job training to build your electrical knowledge and prepare for future advancement.
