About The Position

The primary function of this position is to administer the Construction Division warranty program in compliance with established vendor policies to assure maximum recovery of warranty expenses. The role also involves providing ongoing support and training for service personnel.

Requirements

  • Two year college graduate with a minimum of two years administrative experience in a service-related environment or High school graduate with a minimum of three years administrative experience in a service-related environment.
  • Good verbal and composition skills.
  • Accounting knowledge.
  • Computer literate.
  • Technical aptitude.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze all warranty work orders to determine warrantability of repair, accuracy and completeness of technical information provided and inclusion of necessary supporting documentation.
  • Compile warranty claims using an online computer warranty program, including using component and job codes to accurately reflect labor required to perform repair.
  • Develop, plan, coordinate, schedule and implement training for GPEC service and warranty personnel, service managers, and mechanics.
  • Provide ongoing daily guidance to Gregory Poole service and warranty personnel by maintaining up-to-date warranty guides and service letter files.
  • Work closely with vendor service representatives and other technical personnel to negotiate policy reimbursement.
