About The Position

Braun Intertec is seeking an Entry level Construction Vibration Technician to join our Bloomington or White Bear Lake, MN locations. Responsibilities: Assist and Perform Pre-construction Condition Surveys of existing structures. This includes documentation of as-built conditions by the use of cameras, notes, sketches of structures and creating a report of the findings. Set up equipment and communications for remote operations. Assist in monitoring data daily and communicate data the Braun Intertec team members as needed. Equipment management tasks such as coordination with calibrations, equipment preparation for projects and general care. Interact with contractors on active jobsites. Assist in providing data reports to project managers and clients Troubleshoot equipment as needed. Learn and work within the software specific to the seismograph types for each project. Mentoring from and working with licensed engineers and other experienced staff. Potential of travel for projects outside of the Twin Cities up to 25%. Required skills: Work within established procedures and/or protocols. Ability to focus on assigned tasks , and effectively/efficiently manage time Good communication skills Mechanically inclined Understand and work in compliance with corporate health and safety policies. Complete safety training as required. Able to work comfortably from ladders and aerial lifts, and in underground tunnels. Required Experience: Associate’s Degree in Civil Engineering Technology (CET)or similar degree desired Preferred minimum 2-years of construction work-related experience. Computer proficiency. AutoCAD skills a plus. Valid Driver’s License and clear driving record.
