About The Position

Would you like the opportunity to join our lab as the newest Construction Testing Lab Assistant at Geocon Professional Services? As a Lab Assistant on this team, you will have the opportunity to work on geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing projects.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent
Experience with Microsoft products (specifically Word and Excel) required
Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals
Valid driver's license
Ability to lift 65 pounds repetitively

Responsibilities

Performing soils, aggregate, concrete and asphalt testing on samples
Calibrating lab equipment
Storing and disposing of samples
Working to keep the lab running smoothly, maintaining cleanliness and organization
