The Construction Technician shall work closely with E & C department personnel, various PMs, CMs, field operations personnel, compliance groups and 3rd party personnel. This position shall provide leadership and perform safety sensitive inspection tasks related to working on and around in-service pipeline / station facilities, facility tie-in process, complete all required documentation for assigned tasks, receive material, ensure materials are on site and correctly installed. Assist Construction/Project Manager with developing comprehensive Job Plan. This position will perform inspection duties, including serving as Chief Inspector on various types of projects while assisting in selection, onboarding, and training of 3rd party personnel. The construction technician will work closely with Project Managers, Field Operations and other Company departments in planning and executing safe, successful, meeting all company, regulatory, and professional requirements while achieving targets for safety, budget, schedule, and completion documentation. Duties include but are not limited to: This position will assure compliance is met or exceeded for all applicable company, local, state and federal policies and procedures while ensuring timely preparation and distribution of all required project documentation. This position will reside within BWP system and will travel as required across the entire Boardwalk system. The Construction Technician is often expected to work with minimum supervision and may be required to work extended hours as necessary to complete assigned tasks. The job requires long days, possibly 6-7 days per week and the person must be able to lift 50# as well as walk long distances in all weather conditions.
