About The Position

Global Resource Solutions, Inc. (GRS) is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, detail orientated, and talented individual for the position of Construction Surveillance Technician II. The primary function is to provide "day-to-day" support for Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) and Special Access Program Facility (SAP) construction efforts.

Requirements

• Three (3) to Five (5) years related experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related area or equivalent (4 years) experience.
• Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) counts towards 3 years of experience.
• Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) counts towards 5 years of experience.
• Maximum equivalent experience for SPED Certifications is no more than 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, identifies and communications recommendations for improvements of policies, procedures, or systems.
• Identifies threats, vulnerabilities, and potential risks.
• Drafts security incident reports and briefs government and civilian agencies including military senior leaders.
• Manages uniformed escort personnel and associated logs; assigns trains, briefs site security duties and ensures timely reporting of security incidents to site lead.
• Follow and enforce customers' Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Perform miscellaneous administrative support functions as directed by the contractor site lead and/or the Senior Security Representative.
• Conduct inspections of materials being delivered for utilization in construction of security spaces.
• Photograph and continuously monitor the construction of secure spaces and document all steps in order to support final accreditation packets.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and oversight of team members.
