About The Position

The Construction Surveillance Technician’s primary function is to provide day-to-day security in support of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) and Special Access Program Facility (SAPF) construction efforts. We are seeking a CST I to carry out the following duties and responsibilities: Assess, identify and communicate recommendations for improvements of policies, procedures, or systems Identify threats, vulnerabilities, and potential risks Draft security incident reports and brief government and civilian agencies, including military senior leaders Manage uniformed escort personnel and associated logs Assign, train, and brief site security duties and ensure timely reporting of security incidents to the site lead Follow and enforce customers’ Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Perform miscellaneous administrative support functions as directed by the contractor site lead and/or the Senior Security Representative Conduct inspections of materials being delivered for utilization in construction of secure spaces Photograph and continuously monitor the construction of secure spaces and document all steps in order to support final accreditation packets Provide leadership, mentoring, and oversight of team members

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of related experience (MANDATORY)
  • Interim Secret clearance required
  • POSITION REQUIRES US CITIZENSHIP

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledgeable on Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 (on SCIFs and compliance with uniform IC physical and technical security requirements)
  • Bachelor’s degree is desired and counts toward 4 years of experience
  • Associate’s degree counts toward 2 years of experience

Responsibilities
