The Construction Surveillance Technician's I primary function is to provide day to day security in support of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) & Special Access Program (SAP) construction efforts. Performance shall include assessing, identifying and communications recommendations for improvements of policies, procedures, or systems. The role involves identifying threats, vulnerabilities, and potential risks, drafting security incident reports, and briefing government and civilian agencies including military senior leaders. The technician will manage uniformed escort personnel, assign and train site security duties, and ensure timely reporting of security incidents. Additionally, the technician will follow and enforce customers' Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), conduct inspections of materials for secure spaces, and document the construction process to support final accreditation packets.
