We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Supervisor with specialized experience in the data center industry and deep expertise in low voltage systems, building automation, and controls. The successful candidate will assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction activities, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and the highest standards of quality and safety. MUST be located near Covington, GA.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience managing construction projects, preferably within mission-critical environments (e.g., data centers, healthcare, pharma).
  • Strong background in low voltage systems, controls, and automation technologies.
  • Deep understanding of electrical, mechanical, and IT infrastructure in large-scale facilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple trades and large teams on-site.
  • Working knowledge of commissioning processes and integration of automation systems.
  • Familiarity with applicable building codes, industry standards (e.g., TIA/EIA, NFPA), and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • DNA comprised of collaboration and teamwork

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with hyperscale or colocation data center environments.
  • Familiarity with platforms like Tridium Niagara, Schneider Electric, Honeywell, Siemens, or Johnson Controls.
  • LEED, BICSI, or NICET certifications.
  • PMP or other construction/project management certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supporting the commercial, financial, and technical success of projects, applications, or solutions within the Business Unit.
  • Meets project schedule, profitability, and customer requirements in a system integration engineering environment.
  • Typically supports the Construction Manager who leads multiple project efforts or a large project with high risk, subcontractors, high dollar value, or multiple resources.
  • Duties may occasionally require work on weekends or holidays.
  • Leads project teams of 1-5 technical associates on small project efforts.
  • Utilizes technology to lead geographically dispersed project team members.
  • Provide input and feedback to both associates and clients for activity planning and technical solutions.
  • Accepts mentoring and training from others in Construction management skill sets.
  • Identifies, understands, and communicates client goals to E Tech leadership.
  • Identifies client needs and opportunities and matches specific technical resources, products, and solutions in all aspects of QA/QC requirements.
  • Thinks consequentially in all aspects of client relationships in order to identify potential risks before they become impacts
  • Provides frequent work status updates to the Project Manager/Senior Project Manager. May include work status updates to management and customers.
