About The Position

CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR II / CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR I- FACILITES AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM / NORTHERN SERVICES CENTER Construction Supervisor I will also be considered for recruitment purposes. The reporting location for this position is negotiable with Sacramento and San Diego. This position will work under the direction of the CEA or Construction Supervisor III. The incumbent will be responsible for management and coordination of numerous construction projects for buildings and other State Park Facilities. The Construction Supervisor II may also be required to provide direct inspection services of construction projects or direct supervision of inspectors assigned to work for which they are managing. The Construction Supervisor II is responsible for the recognition, coordination, and enforcement of issues relating to CEQA, Historic Building codes, Federal and State Fish and Wildlife Restrictions, and all other applicable mitigating requirements during the course of construction. The position requires extensive travel to Park Units located throughout the State of California and possession of a valid California driver's license. This position requires a valid California Class "C" Driver's license. Training and Development Assignments may be considered State Housing is not available. Requirements
