About The Position

Elford is hiring an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations on commercial and industrial construction projects. This role is responsible for coordinating Elford crews and subcontractors, maintaining safety and quality standards, and driving project execution to meet schedule and performance expectations. If you’re a Superintendent who takes ownership of the jobsite, leads from the field, and knows how to keep work moving safely and efficiently, we want to hear from you.

Requirements

10+ years of construction industry experience
5+ years in a Superintendent or Foreman leadership role
Experience in commercial and/or industrial construction
Strong understanding of construction sequencing, site logistics, and quality control
Proven leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
Comfortable using construction technology and reporting tools
Willingness to travel as project needs require

Nice To Haves

Trade school, apprenticeship, or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities for Elford crews and subcontractors
Serve as the primary field leader and point of contact for owners, subcontractors, inspectors, and project teams
Enforce Elford safety policies, OSHA standards, and regulatory requirements
Construct projects in strict accordance with approved plans, specifications, and schedules
Maintain daily on-site presence to monitor productivity, quality, and safety performance
Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, inspections, testing, and permits
Drive work to meet or exceed construction schedules and milestones
Support project documentation, billing coordination, and subcontractor scope review
Supervise field staff, including foremen and on-site support personnel
Participate in weekly job meetings, scheduling discussions, and field operations meetings
