About The Position

The Construction Superintendent oversees and coordinates all on-site activities for commercial construction projects, ensuring work is completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, techniques, and materials.
• Effective leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
• Familiarity with construction management software.
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage day-to-day field construction activities.
• Supervise on-site personnel and subcontractors.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs.
• Ensure workmanship meets plans, specifications, and company expectations.
• Review project schedules, milestones, and material delivery requirements.
• Enforce OSHA and company safety protocols.
• Lead on-site safety meetings and monitor high-risk areas.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control and resolve issues.
• Uphold professionalism and integrity while representing company values.
• Manage on-site teams and allocate resources efficiently.
• Identify material lead times and track fabrication and delivery dates.
• Schedule and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors.
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Resolve unexpected challenges and implement solutions to maintain progress.
