About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Traveling Construction Superintendent to oversee commercial ground-up projects throughout the Southeastern United States. Knowledge and experience with Bib Box Retail and Self-Storage projects is desired. This position requires a hands-on leader who can manage field operations, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure all work is completed on time, within budget, and to company quality standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive ground-up construction experience, as well as strong proficiency in Procore or other construction management software. This is a travel-based position requiring regular on-site presence at project locations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction, including both ground-up and tenant improvement projects.
  • Proven track record managing complex builds from mobilization through closeout.
  • Proficient with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management tools.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, sequencing, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
  • OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
  • Must be willing and able to travel extensively and remain on-site for project duration.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities from start to finish.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, materials, equipment, and inspections to meet schedule and quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain project documentation and daily reports through Procore or equivalent software.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and field personnel.
  • Proactively identify issues or potential delays and implement corrective measures.
  • Lead by example to promote a culture of safety, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Travel regularly to project sites throughout the Southeastern U.S.
