About The Position

Tri State GC is seeking experienced superintendents for roles on our Commercial Retail Projects in Coolidge, Arizona. Our Superintendents manage subcontractors, safety, and quality control, ensuring that work is high-quality, safe, on schedule, and within budget. You will manage the daily schedule and coordinate with the customer's team to ensure smooth project execution. Responsibilities include managing safety compliance, meeting with inspectors, and overseeing the construction site operations.

Requirements

• Excellent computer skills and detailed paperwork.
• Ability to read and thoroughly understand plans and submittals.
• Wood framing retail experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated knowledge of building systems (Architectural, MEP, etc.).
• Highly motivated with great organizational, team, and customer service skills.

• Special training and certifications related to construction management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the work of subcontractors on the project.
• Manage day to day operations of the construction site.
• Thoroughly review & understand plans, specifications & schedule.
• Schedule and direct subcontractor's activities to ensure a productive and safe workplace.
• Inspect and manage all materials and tradesman to ensure compliance with project plans & specifications.
• Oversee all jurisdictional inspections including local building officials and health department.
• Maintain project schedule and direct subcontractors accordingly.
• Obtain final project inspections & certifications of occupancy and compliance.
• Assist Project Manager with project financials and manage GC costs.
• Compile all close out documents, including as-builts and warranty documentation.
• Conduct weekly on-site safety meetings and ensure adherence to safety policies.
• Complete daily logs by the end of the business day.
• Coordinate owner's vendors & equipment.
• Review all submittals.
• Lead punch list issuance and completion.
