About The Position

We are seeking skilled Construction Specialist who are local to the Denver, CO area. This position reports to the Construction Manager and offers an opportunity to join a strong, collaborative team at an early stage of growth, gain valuable experience, and contribute to the continued expansion of GRC.

Requirements

A valid driver's license is required for most positions.
On-call and weekend availability
Ability to commute/travel

Construction: 1 year (Preferred)
CDL A (Preferred)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Understanding of basic utility construction processes and terminology a plus

Responsibilities

Construction specialist is responsible for general laborer duties and support on construction sites
Use various equipment, hand, and power tools
Prepare ground trenches for pipes and utility lines
Remove, fill, or compact earth
Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery to conform to grade and utility safety standards.
Responsible for the site set-up and clean-up
Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment on the truck
Will be involved in new site Job Safety Analysis - JSA prior to starting construction
Setting up safety perimeter using signage, cones, and safety barriers and at times flagging traffic
May be required to work overtime; after hours; on weekends, for emergencies, or be on-call as work is needed to ensure work is completed
