About The Position

The Construction Specialist III Gas position at Citizens Energy Group involves managing gas pipeline capital construction projects with limited supervision. The role requires providing technical guidance to construction specialists and contract crews, ensuring compliance with project scope, budget, schedule, quality, and safety standards. The successful candidate will also assist higher-level construction staff and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent, with 5 years of related experience; or an Associate Degree in construction technology or related field with 3 years of experience; or a Bachelor's Degree in construction technology or related field.
• Valid driver's license in the United States; State of Indiana driver's license required within 30 days of employment.
• Thorough understanding of State and Local Codes for construction activities within a public right of way.
• Working knowledge of construction standards and techniques for underground utility and plant projects.
• Strong ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Working knowledge of construction jobsite safety.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, GIS, and MO&SO View.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Support management of gas pipeline capital construction projects under limited supervision.

• Assist in developing and updating construction standards.
