Construction Site Supervisor - Poultry Division
About The Position
Hog Slat, Inc. is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to supervise the new construction, retrofitting and remodeling of poultry barns in the Midwest States As Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for sourcing qualified contractors and subcontractors for these projects. Additionally, you will be required to stay abreast of subcontractors’ day to day activities and ensure that their work meets Hog Slat’s expectations for quality and timeliness. You will work not only with our sales staff to coordinate the projects but also with our distribution team to ensure delivery schedules for construction materials are met and don’t slow down construction.
Requirements
- 5+ years of successful site project management experience (preferably in poultry equipment installation/barn construction)
- excellent knowledge of all phase of commercial construction
- experience in construction scheduling, field supervision, and quality control of construction projects
- ability to organize and inspire sub contractors to exceptional performance
- must have and maintain a satisfactory driving record for liability and insurance purposes
Nice To Haves
- knowledge of the modern poultry industry is preferred
Responsibilities
