About The Position

Have you ever dreamed of manufacturing and altering entertainment, operational, and character costumes using specifications sheets and drawings for our parades, character meet and greets and shows at Walt Disney World? We are currently seeking Construction Sewing Specialists! In this role, our Cast will manufacture costumes by sewing to our efficiency and quality standards by working high-powered industrial sewing machines, press equipment, glues, and tools!

Requirements

• Experience in sewing and costume construction.
• Ability to operate industrial sewing machines and related equipment.
• Attention to detail and quality standards in costume manufacturing.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a theatrical or entertainment costume department.
• Knowledge of fabric types and their properties.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture costumes by sewing according to specifications sheets and drawings.
• Alter costumes as needed for parades, character meet and greets, and shows.
• Operate high-powered industrial sewing machines and press equipment.
• Utilize glues and tools effectively to meet quality standards.
