We have an exciting opportunity for a Construction Sales PM- Fire Sprinkler located in Menomonie, WI.

Requirements

  • Five plus years of fire protection contracting experience.
  • Experience in design, sales, project management, or field work.
  • Prior experience bidding work and strong understanding of estimating.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • NICET certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage persuasion and relationship management skills through developing and growing a customer base.
  • Apply project management abilities through performing preliminary design and calculations for bid estimates.
  • Prepare pricing for materials, labor, freight, and fabrication.
  • Seek out competitive vendors and services to assure that Ahern’s fire protection projects are competitively bid.
  • Prepare scope and quotation letters for customers.
  • Maintain monthly estimate logs.
  • Meet with management regularly to discuss current estimating backlog and due dates.
  • Participate in turnover meetings as required.
  • Assist with any follow-up information with the customer as requested.
  • Manage projects in conjunction with the designer and construction superintendent.
