Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is strongly desired, although a combination of education (HS Diploma or GED equivalency is a minimum requirement) and related work experience will also be considered.
  • 3+ years sales or business development within the Low/Medium Voltage power distribution market OR 5+ years sales or business development within the Low/Medium Voltage power distribution market.
  • 3+ years of sales experience with LV/MV power distribution product line OR 5+ years sales or business development within the Low/Medium Voltage power distribution market.
  • Ability to travel 15% of the time.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Nice To Haves

  • BS in Engineering / BS in Business or similar.
  • 3+ years of sales experience with LV/MV power distribution product line.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems like SieSales for tracking opportunities and forecasting.
  • Experience developing and leading sales capture teams, including coordinating cross-functional resources to pursue and secure complex project opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with electrical distributors and large electrical contractors to drive project wins and expand Siemens' presence in the construction channel.
  • Maintain a strong, consistent presence in the Jacksonville metro and greater North Florida area, promoting Siemens’ power distribution solutions and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline through strategic prospecting, lead follow-up, and management of key accounts.
  • Develop account plans for key customers with a focus on long-term growth, revenue retention, and customer satisfaction.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Siemens’ portfolio, including Panelboards, Switchboards, Lighting Panels, Low and Medium Voltage Switchgear, Busway, MCCs, Safety Switches, Molded Case Circuit Breakers, IEC/NEMA Control, and Residential Products.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with senior decision-makers at key contractor and distributor accounts.
  • Partner with internal teams, channel partners, and solution providers to deliver coordinated sales strategies and customer support.
