We are seeking someone who is comfortable introducing themselves to new people, with excellent communication skills, a serious multi-tasker, loves flexing their creative muscles, and works with social media/technology easily. This is a job that will have you doing different things with different people everyday splitting your time between networking, office, and field work. This position requires someone who can self-motivate and switch their focus as issues and opportunities arise. It is ideal for someone who likes to solve problems their own way, likes some action, and charges their battery from social interactions. This is first and foremost a sales job in the rapidly growing restoration industry and SERVPRO is one of the biggest names in this space. We will give you the training you need to speak competently about the industry and the services we provide, and we also give you the roadmap for what success habits are in this role but ultimately your success in this role will be what you put into it. You will have a base salary along with uncapped commission for the work that you bring in along with other benefits. This is an emergency industry, so our work hours are not always confined by standard hours. This means there is a give and take: to thrive and be successful in this position you should bring motivation to win or make the sale regardless of the time of day, but you also have some options for flexibility in your schedule. We ask you to be flexible and we are flexible in return with your needs. This position offers a lot of variety—from the people we meet and engage with to the situations themselves—there is something that makes every project unique. It is truly satisfying to be called out to a “situation” where someone is facing a problem and you have the answers they need. Your job is to be the person who gets that call by building relationships with decision-makers, educating them on our service lines, and taking care of their experience when you get that call. The compensation for this position will have a salary component as well as an uncapped commission component. The salary portion will be negotiable based on your needs and experience.
