This position will involve working outside in extreme weather conditions, exposure to loud noises and abnormal odors, confined space work, and working in areas with overhead activities . Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (required)
  • OSHA 30 certification (required)
  • 1+ years of construction safety experience (commercial preferred)
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety regulations
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to identify hazards and implement solutions
  • Comfortable working in active construction environments
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 510 / OSHA 500 certification
  • CPR/First Aid certification
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Experience in mechanical, electrical, or industrial construction
  • Experience with incident investigation and root cause analysis
  • Familiarity with safety management systems (SMS)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily jobsite safety inspections and audits
  • Identify unsafe conditions and behaviors and recommend corrective actions
  • Enforce OSHA, company, and site-specific safety policies
  • Assist with site-specific safety plans and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs)
  • Lead daily safety meetings, toolbox talks, and orientations
  • Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents
  • Prepare safety reports, logs, and documentation
  • Assist with emergency response planning and drills
  • Monitor subcontractor safety compliance
  • Coordinate safety training and certifications
  • Maintain safety signage and jobsite postings
  • Support drug-free workplace and compliance programs
