As a Construction Safety Manager with Cummings Electrical, you’ll play a key role in driving our Safety First culture across large-scale commercial and industrial projects throughout the DFW area. You’ll work directly with project teams to ensure compliance, champion best practices, and foster a proactive approach to keeping our people safe and our operations running smoothly.

Requirements

BS Occupational Safety & Health required
12-15 years relevant construction experience, or Certified Safety Professional (as recognized by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals) Two 2 years of relevant construction experience
Minimum OSHA 510
Minimum Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) Board of certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) Certification
Must be willing to work overtime and weekends if needed

Responsibilities

Safety Manager is responsible for overall SSSP execution, including, but not limited to management of Subcontractor Safety Coordinators
Sub-tier management, case & care Management
Oversee activities related to electrical, instrumentation, and controls
Ensure safety remains a top priority on every job site at all times
Work closely with project teams to develop and sustain an Incident and Injury Free Culture (IIFC)
Report directly to the Health and Safety Director
Craft training, safety administration, work coordination, and high-risk activity planning and development
