About The Position

The Construction Safety Manager will oversee safety for the expansion of an active manufacturing facility. This role will support general contractors and subcontractors across all trades, including retrofit work and the addition of a mezzanine structure.

Requirements

  • OSHA 500 or OSHA 510 with 10+ years of safety experience
  • Electrical experience with NFPA 70E
  • 3+ years of construction safety experience
  • Strong communication and public speaking abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong understanding of EHS principles and construction safety regulations
  • Ability to effectively communicate and enforce safety standards
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA outreach training experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct project safety inspections and employee orientations
  • Perform daily audits for compliance and communicate deficiencies to site leadership
  • Assist with collecting and submitting daily safety documentation to the client
  • Provide safety training as needed
  • Monitor jobsite activities and enforce safety protocols
  • Review and manage safety documentation and contractor communications
  • Perform additional EHS-related duties as required
