Ready to shape the future of resilient communities? Verdantas is seeking a talented Construction Representative Intern to join our team in Mentor, Ohio. As an intern, you won't just observe, you'll contribute meaningfully to real-world construction projects. You'll support field inspections, quality control testing, and environmental sampling, gaining hands-on experience in areas such as sanitary and storm sewer installation, pavement rehabilitation, and water line construction.

  • On site monitoring of labor, materials, equipment, and construction operations
  • Written reporting of operations, measurements and calculations, quantity collations, and appurtenant efforts
  • Monitoring and reporting on extra work activities
  • Interface with clients, residents and businesses affected by the work
  • Able to work outside in various weather conditions
  • Other related activities as needed
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Must be able to write effectively and articulate outcomes to clients and team members
  • Previous engineering co-op/experience a plus
