About The Position

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Audits construction project records related to prefabricated structural materials.
• Verifies contractor compliance with state and federal requirements.
• Advises contractors' bookkeepers on record-keeping procedures.
• Assists with Federal Highway Administration and departmental reviews of construction records.
• Monitors material testing requirements, results, and reports for compliance with specifications and standards.
• Participates in meetings regarding contract administration.
• Performs and reviews construction records audits and coordinates with area engineers on estimates, change orders, and work orders.
• Prepares related correspondence and reports.
• Trains less experienced recordkeepers and records auditors.
