About The Position

Summertown Metals of Morristown is looking for a Quality Control person. This person must be self-motivated and have a strong knowledge of the construction industry. This is a full-time position which includes benefits such as medical, dental, vision, accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, STD, LTD, life, 401K with a company match, PTO and vacation time. Job duties include but are not limited to: Call customers prior to the start of project to establish a line communication Proactively visit jobsites to establish accountability and good rapport with independent contractors. Assist with onboarding new builders following ‘new contractor procedures’. Jobsite checkups when coordination or customer care needs eyes on the project Utilize the software tools to track jobs and upload pictures and notes. Assist with daily decision making for contractors Visit new contractors first 3 jobsites ensure standard practices are followed Update, inform, and physically work with contractors of building standard changes Watch over our new less experienced builders and offer corrections and make objective decisions on what builders move forward building with us and the ones that do not. Daily decision making with builders and job sites. Making sure that the customer has quality builders and are pleased with their project. Address habitual issues with building practices or material, to create standardized building practices Ensure missing or damaged material are getting to jobsites by either purchasing, working to schedule a delivery, or picking up from our facility Make repairs on jobs when necessary Maintain communication throughout the process with customer and do a final follow up call with customer on completion
