About The Position

As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will have the opportunity to support exciting and challenging construction projects. This role involves Rough-in Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC), which is a systematic process for inspecting the "hidden" infrastructure of a building, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, and other trades. Inspections are conducted after installation but before walls, ceilings, and floors are closed with finishes. This phase is crucial for verifying that all systems meet project specifications, with the main goal being to identify defects early to prevent costly repairs and schedule delays. Requirements

• Inspectors must be able to use or learn how to use various measurement tools and construction documents.
• Dependable personal transportation is required to travel to various job site locations.
• Ability to stand for long periods and maneuver in an industrial environment.
• Must be able to read and write, perform basic math calculations, and understand and communicate in English.

Nice To Haves

• Construction experience is preferred.
• Experience in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications is preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel, or Google document equivalents, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and document inspections, such as checking material compliance and performing dimensional checks.
• Report results to team members and back-check to confirm the correction/completion of items out of compliance.
• Documentation responsibilities such as generating reports and checklists.
• Other duties as assigned.
