This role will support a new Project that will proceed from designing the layout, then building the test site to then testing a new generation propulsion system. This will be an exciting opportunity to assist and shape the future.

Requirements

  • BS/BA in a related field
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with compatibility of propellant and piping
  • Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
  • Ability to support possible weekend or after-hours support
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Must possess either REAL ID or US Passport

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading a multi-disciplines team in the support of Propulsion testing
  • Some experience in overall Systems Safety

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily construction activities in accordance with approved schedules.
  • Manage phased construction activities to ensure continuity of operations in active research/test environments.
  • Sequence work to avoid disruption to adjacent facilities and mission-critical operations.
  • Monitor progress against baseline schedule and implement corrective actions as required.
  • Ensure proper turnover between construction phases (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, controls, etc.).
  • Conduct field quality checks and coordinate inspections.
  • Verify subcontractor work meets design intent and applicable codes.
  • Support documentation for CUI-sensitive projects where applicable.
  • Conduct daily safety briefings and ensure job hazard analyses are followed.
  • Ensure personnel comply with base entry and escort requirements.
  • Assist in preparing weekly field progress summaries (accomplishments, challenges, roadblocks).
  • Coordinate equipment deliveries, staging areas, and material handling.
  • Support outage planning for utilities, testing systems, and facility tie-ins.
