About The Position

The Construction Project Manager will oversee the construction phase of restaurant projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. This role involves direct supervision of contractors and coordination with various stakeholders, including architects and design teams, to establish project processes and manage documentation effectively.

Requirements

• 5+ years of on-site construction experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
• 2+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager.
• Experience in Tenant Coordination or as an Owner's Representative preferred.
• Knowledge of industry standard practices, materials, means, and methods.
• Familiarity with project management software and sustainable building practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Microsoft Project.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of lighting and specifications development.
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the construction phase of restaurant projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
• Directly supervise the General Contractor and Subcontractors during the construction process.
• Coordinate with Architects, Interior Designers, Food Service, Engineering Consultants, and other vendors.
• Establish project processes and procedures in collaboration with the in-house design team and contractors.
• Assist in pre-construction estimating and site assessments, including feasibility studies.
• Review project documents for compliance with local requirements and FRC standards.
• Attend OACs and manage project budgets, schedules, and quality controls during construction.
• Issue, review, and track change orders and construction directives.
