Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience with project controls, schedule and construction management
  • 5-7 years of experience working with of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Engineering, construction management or architecture degree with 5-7 years of experience in construction management/administration experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of new construction and refurbishment projects, including planning, design, procurement, construction, and closeout, ensuring alignment with the client's goals, policies, and standards.
  • Lead the definition and approval of project scope, budget, schedule, and objectives by providing technical expertise, gathering data, and preparing reports for the assigned Program Director.
  • Assemble, direct, and oversee project teams-including personnel, consultants, contractors, and design professionals-ensuring collaboration, accountability, and effective communication.
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of design and construction teams, providing updates and recommendations to leadership on project delivery, schedule, and vendor performance.
  • Evaluate, negotiate, and recommend approval of design, construction, and specialty consultant contracts, proposals, invoices, and change orders to maintain control of project cost and schedule.
  • Ensure all projects comply with applicable laws, codes, contract requirements, policies, and the conditions of all required permits and approvals.
  • Plan, coordinate, and report on daily construction activities, maintaining oversight of schedule, quality, safety, and contractor performance.
  • Manage day-to-day contract administration, including bid analysis, award recommendations, negotiation, documentation, and enforcement of contract terms.
  • Identify and implement solutions, strategies, and corrective actions to address budget, schedule, or performance challenges and ensure successful project completion.
  • Prepare and deliver clear written reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate project progress, issues, and recommendations to client stakeholders.
