About The Position

We are seeking a highly organized Construction Project Manager to take full ownership of projects from initiation through close-out. This role is a hybrid position based out of Phoenix, AZ, acting as the primary financial, contractual, and operational lead while serving as the driving force behind site execution, quality assurance, and safety compliance.

Requirements

  • Education: bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or Project Management
  • Experience: minimum of 3+ years of progressive experience in construction project management, with a significant field operations focus
  • Travel: ability and willingness to travel frequently (expected 50–75%) to the Northeast US and internationally to Canada
  • Skills: strong understanding of construction contracts, cost control, scheduling, communication and leadership

Responsibilities

  • Produce and manage the Schedule of Values (SOV)
  • Manage monthly invoicing, cost control, and financial forecasting
  • Oversee Purchase Orders, RFQs, invoice approvals, and Change Order documentation
  • Review proposals, drawings, and budgets to ensure project alignment
  • Oversee Site Trailer/Office organization and ensure the visible display of delivery/erection schedules and daily task lists
  • Manage site logistics and coordination between the General Contractor and subcontractors
  • Handle daily delivery coordination with fabricators and the St. Gédéon transport department
  • Produce and review the 3 Weeks Look Ahead (3WLA) and specific pour dates with the PM team
  • Conduct end-of-day daily meetings with subcontractors to review and adjust the schedule
  • Develop and manage erection/delivery schedules and produce engineer-stamped erection procedures
  • Submit site daily reports before the end of every day
  • Implement and manage the QA/QC program and conduct site QA/QC audits (specifically pre-pour)
  • Collect piece counts and delay reports from subcontractors daily
  • Obtain GC/client sign-offs for divisions and specific wall sections
  • Manage the coordination of safety and material shipments (e.g., red braces, safety guardrails) back to the shop
  • Ensure initial and subsequent safety orientations are conducted for all workers
  • Conduct safety kick-off meetings, including the review of Eeection procedures and JSAs
  • Manage the collection and validation of subcontractor tickets and safety equipment certificates
  • Oversee the collection of fall prevention and rescue plans and validate them with safety personnel
  • Coordinate project close-out, sign-offs, and produce complete close-out documentation
  • Lead "lessons learned" and post-mortem reviews to improve future operations
