About The Position

Full Service Commercial Real Estate Firm with an in house construction company; seeks hands on, energetic, entrepreneurial team member to manage development construction projects Duties will include but are not limited to the following: Project Management Meet with estimating and business development staff to learn about project. Create completion schedule. Create construction budget to lock in profit. Determine what tools, equipment, and materials, will be required to complete the project and schedule their delivery. Manage self performed work. Manage subcontractors. Ability to manage several construction projects at the same time. Estimating Meeting with clients and understanding their needs. Preparing construction estimates for client’s approval. Individual must possess, or have the ability to learn, the following skills: Strong minded and strong can-do attitude. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills Ability to solve problems Ability to negotiate contracts for the good of the company. Organized Attention to detail Punctual Requirements: Minimum 5 years project management experience. Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or extensive experience as construction project manager or construction estimator. Own vehicle that can be used for business use in exchange for gas reimbursement. Available to travel daily to each job location, we have job sites in Lansing, Ypsilanti, Toledo, etc. Ideal candidate has been a construction project manager for a commercial contractor. Compensation is competitive Total compensation package would include a base wage, company phone, mileage reimbursement, and then health benefits and 401k after 90 days Requirements: Requirements: Minimum 5 years construction experience.
