Construction Project Manager (Civil & Utility)
About The Position
We are seeking experienced Civil & Utility Construction Project Managers for a full time, salaried opportunity based in the Alexandria, VA area. This role will oversee multiple field projects and requires regular travel to job sites, supported by a monthly car allowance. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience managing civil and utility construction projects, coordinating crews and subcontractors, and ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. Requirements
- MUST have 7 years of heavy civil construction project management experience, at least 5 years experience in the US
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Blueprint reading proficiency
- Strong analytical, prioritization and organizational skills; detail-oriented
Nice To Haves
- BS. in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (not required but highly preferred)
- VDOT experience is preferred
- Familiar with water and sewer, paving, bridge construction, stream restoration, retaining walls, sound walls and all other highway construction
- Project and/or customer experience with federal, state, local governments
