Requirements

  • At least 3 years of construction project management experience is required
  • Organized and Deadline-driven: Manages multiple priorities, maintains schedules, and meets deadlines with strong attention to detail.
  • Good Communicator: Communicates clearly and professionally with customers, contractors, and internal teams, both verbally and in writing.
  • Analytical Problem-solver: Evaluates issues, works through constraints, and makes sound decisions as projects progress.
  • Flexible: Typically work Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (45-50 hrs. per week) with flexibility based on project needs. Availability to take calls after hours when needed
  • Leadership-minded: Comfortable supervising others, delegating tasks, and coordinating teams to keep projects moving.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to work effectively in project management software.
  • Job Site-ready: Comfortable walking active job sites, including uneven terrain and changing site conditions.

Nice To Haves

  • Precast or concrete experience is preferred but not required
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer communication through project closeout.
  • Prepare and manage project submittals in coordination with engineers, designers, and customers.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, and field operations.
  • Maintain project schedules and coordinate manufacturing and field timelines.
  • Coordinate project design with drafters and engineers throughout construction.
  • Assist the project team with contract negotiations and change coordination.
  • Oversee project invoicing and track project budgets.
  • Hire, manage, & coordinate general contractors and outside subcontractors.
  • Serve as a safety-minded leader on projects by identifying potential risks, addressing concerns, and supporting a culture of safe, accountable work.
  • Travel to job sites within the tri-state area, typically 30 minutes to 2.5 hours away, one to two days per week.
