About The Position

The Project Manager oversees commercial glass and glazing projects from contract award through final completion. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, budgeting, and executing projects while ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. The Project Manager works closely with estimators, drafters & engineers, fabrication teams, installers, vendors, general contractors, and clients to deliver $100,000 to $3 Million dollar projects on schedule and within budget.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of project management experience in construction, preferably in glass & glazing, fenestration, curtainwall, or façade systems.
  • Strong understanding of glazing systems such as storefront, curtainwall, unitized systems, aluminum entrances, and interior glass.
  • Ability to read architectural drawings and interpret technical details.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software, Microsoft Office, and construction platforms (Procore, Bluebeam, etc.).

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with fabrication workflows and metal/glass procurement.
  • Knowledge of thermal performance, structural glazing principles, and hardware compatibility.

Responsibilities

  • Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and shop drawings
  • Create project schedules and milestones
  • Supervise drafters/engineers to produce shop drawings for contracted scope
  • Coordinate fabrication, procurement, and installation teams
  • Attend internal kickoff and project manager meetings
  • Track budgets, costs, and profitability
  • Produce and Approve POs, change orders, and subcontract agreements
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, and closeout documentation
  • Conduct jobsite visits and monitor safety and quality
  • Resolve field issues and coordinate with installers
  • Ensure proper sequencing and system installation
  • Serve as main contact for GC, architects, and clients
  • Provide project updates and risk assessments
  • Maintain strong professional relationships
  • Assist Safety Manager in enforcing OSHA and company safety standards
  • Verify compliance with ASTM, ANSI, and local code requirements
  • Manage inspections, permits, and documentation
