About The Position

A Senior Project Manager/Lead Project Manager/Senior Construction Project Manager is required to join a leading mechanical contractor delivering a flagship $22M boiler and chiller plant renovation in Phoenix Senior Project Manager/Lead Project Manager/Senior Construction Project Manager will lead the full mechanical and plumbing scope, both self-performed and subcontracted work, while driving delivery, coordination, customer satisfaction, and project profitability. An ideal Senior Project Manager/Lead Project Manager/Senior Construction Project Manager 10–15+ years of mechanical/HVAC project management experience. Requirements

  • 10–15+ years of mechanical/HVAC project management experience
  • Proven success managing $15M+ mechanical projects
  • High-capacity, intelligent thinker, comfortable navigating grey areas
  • High energy, proactive, and able to build strong team momentum
  • Clear, direct communicator who “says what they think” while staying professional
  • Strong BIM and coordination capability (AutoCAD, Navisworks, Procore, BIM 360, etc.)
  • Strong HVAC system knowledge is mandatory
  • Ability to operate confidently in a design-build environment
  • Interpret drawings, identify issues, propose technical solutions, and collaborate with engineers
  • Manage complex mechanical plant upgrades, heavy commercial systems, and MEP interfaces

Responsibilities

  • Drive full delivery of a large-scale mechanical renovation project
  • Lead self-perform mechanical and plumbing teams
  • Manage subcontractors and coordinate with engineering and design groups
  • Oversee scheduling, labor loading, and overall project strategy
  • Ensure milestones, safety, cost controls, and timeline objectives are achieved
  • Act as the primary customer-facing representative
  • Build strong relationships with owners, engineers, and partner contractors
  • Represent the business professionally in a high-touch, low-sales environment
  • Maintain excellent communication and customer satisfaction throughout the project
